I've taken too many steps
down the wrong path
now it's too late
to ever turn back
Like the match that burns the candle
my flame is flickering out
somebody please help me
find my passage out
I'm crying with the clouds
like a raindrop from the sky
I touch my cheek and wipe away
the teardrop from my eye
This is worse than any nightmare
or even any dream
no one’s around to help me
cause I'm screaming silent screams
Innocence surrounds me
like a child in a crib
here I lay alone at night
only a few nights left to live
Friends and relatives all around
as they place my body in the ground
It's just as I imagined,
and just as I had dreamed
no one's willing to listen when
you're screaming silent screams
